The ‘Koibattle’ between European koihobbyists.
The koi
Yoshikigoi Koifarm Poland will provide its best VHQ jumbo tosai Asagi and ginrin Asagi for this event. All koi belong to the top 1% of the Asagi breeding of 2022. The normally scaled (wagoi) Asagi were born in June 2022, the Asagi with the glittering scales (ginrin) were born in July. The wagoi Asagi are expected to be about 30 cm in spring. The ginrin variant will be approx. 25 cm because they are a month younger.
Important to know.
A good quality Asagi is a real asset to any pond. The right quality is even more important with this variety than with many other koi. You often see that a beautiful clean koi from Japan quickly becomes too dark or develops black spots. This is mainly caused by the large difference in water composition. The big advantage of a Yoshikigoi Asagi is that the koi were born and raised in almost the same water that is in your pond. The risk of quality deterioration is thus reduced to a minimum. The Yoshikigoi koi you select retains its quality under the right conditions. In addition, the koi at Yoshikigoi are on the right food so that this will not have a negative impact on the overall quality of the koi. Obviously, this applies to all quality koi from the Yoshikigoi Koi Farm. All quality naturally starts with the right bloodlines and years of experience. A very good quality Asagi, which is also affordable, is now within reach!
